92 Points 2008 Talbott Chardonnay, Logan
“This is the most impressive lineup of wines I have seen from Talbott in a number of years. Their less expensive second label is a noteworthy value. The 2008 Chardonnay Logan (a selection from the Sleepy Hollow Vineyard) is a slightly fruitier, more structured style of Chardonnay from Talbott. Light straw-colored, the wine displays notes of nectarine, kiwi, orange marmalade, honey, and subtle oak. Cutting a broad swath across the palate, it is full-bodied, rich, and impressively endowed. It is the best Talbott Chardonnay in a number of years.” Robert Parker - Click here
92 Points 2008 Talbott Pinot Noir, Logan
“This is the most impressive lineup of wines I have seen from Talbott in a number of years. The 2008 Pinot Noir Logan has wild berry and sandalwood notes, a slightly darker ruby color, richer, more dramatic flavors of red and blue fruits, and some nice spice and earth. This beauty is broad, savory, and can be drunk now or cellared for another 7-8 years.” Robert Parker
88 Points 2008 Talbott Pinot Noir, Kali Hart
“This is the most impressive lineup of wines I have seen from Talbott in a number of years. Their less expensive second label is a noteworthy value. The 2008 Pinot Noir Kali Hart has a medium ruby color and a big, smoky, spicy nose with plenty of mulberry and black cherry fruit. Almost Burgundian in its aromatics, the wine is medium-bodied, pure, and nicely textured. This is a delicious, well-made Pinot Noir to drink over the next 2-4 years.” Robert Parker - Click here
87 Points 2009 Talbott Chardonnay, Kali Hart
“This is the most impressive lineup of wines I have seen from Talbott in a number of years. Their less expensive second label is a noteworthy value. Take, for example, the 2008 Chardonnay Kali Hart. It displays loads of poached pear, pineapple, and honey in an impressively perfumed bouquet. In the mouth, it is soft, fleshy, and medium-bodied, with just enough acidity to give it balance. It is a fruity, consumer-friendly style of Chardonnay to drink over the next year.” Robert Parker - Click here
90+ Points 2008 Talbott Pinot Noir, Sleepy Hollow Vineyard
“This is the most impressive lineup of wines I have seen from Talbott in a number of years. The 2008 Pinot Noir Sleepy Hollow Vineyard has a similar dark ruby color as well as an attractively perfumed nose of red and blue fruits, spice box, and a touch of earth and background wood. It is rich, textured, and slightly more structured than the Logan (or at least the tannins appear more present). It’s a beauty as well.” Robert Parker - Click here
91 Points 2008 Talbott Chardonnay, Sleepy Hollow Vineyard
“This is the most impressive lineup of wines I have seen from Talbott in a number of years. From their estate vineyards, the 2008 Chardonnay Sleepy Hollow Vineyard has a beautiful nose of honeysuckle, tropical fruit, and other assorted floral notes. Light straw-colored, it possesses full-bodied richness, good acidity, and some subtle underlying minerality. This is a beautiful Chardonnay to drink over the next 3-4 years.” Robert Parker - Click here
