90 Points 2009 Talbott Chardonnay, Logan

“A sort of advance peek at the Chardonnay that, in a year or so, will bear the Sleepy Hollow designation. It should be an amazingly rich wine, as even this junior version is. Dry, crisp and oaky, it explodes with pineapple, mango, apricot and buttered toast flavors.” Steve Heimoff Wine Enthusiast - Click here

White Wines to Pair with Summer Salads - 2009 Talbott Chardonnay, Kali Hart

“This wine has a tropical, citrusy character that pairs well with many foods. Its pineapple flavors are softened by a hint of vanilla. My wife, Pamela, served this wine with a quiche, and it was delicious. I like drinking it a little more chilled than most...My next ‘go to’ salad is cilantro lime rice salad with sautéed shrimp. The tropical flavors from the Talbott’s Kali Hart Chardonnay bring out the flavors in the buttery shrimp. Chardonnay’s soft and light body will enhance the creaminess of rice and shrimp, making this a wonderful pairing.” Gene Treacy and Terri Geiser - Knoxville News-Sentinel

88 Points 2009 Talbott Pinot Noir, Logan

“Deep and intense on the nose with gently stemmy accents with smoky topnotes over wild blackberry and wild cherry fruit. Big and rich in the mouth with tons of sweet fruit. This is a bowl of mixed cherries in the mouth with nicely balanced acidity and a bed of finely-grained tannins for support. The mid-palate is fairly dark and certainly deep with a nice wood element on the finish...The alcohol is very well integrated with a touch of heat on the finish.” Gregory Dal Piaz - Click here

"Quite a Finish" 2009 Talbott Chardonnay, Kali Hart

“Another consistent high-end operation is Talbott Vineyards down in Monterey, and I'm loving Talbott Vineyards Kali Hart Chardonnay 2009. It's got quite a finish for the under-$20 category, offering lots of melony appeal. (I'm picturing it alongside a melon and ricotta salad, in fact.)” Ted Loos
