“This wine has a tropical, citrusy character that pairs well with many foods. Its pineapple flavors are softened by a hint of vanilla. My wife, Pamela, served this wine with a quiche, and it was delicious. I like drinking it a little more chilled than most...My next ‘go to’ salad is cilantro lime rice salad with sautéed shrimp. The tropical flavors from the Talbott’s Kali Hart Chardonnay bring out the flavors in the buttery shrimp. A pale straw color with a lovely aroma of ripe tropical fruits and soft oak. The bright Chardonnay flavors are perfectly balanced with the oak. This is Chardonnay as it was meant to be. “Never a wine that falls short on full and outgoing expression, this latest version of Talbott's flagship effort boasts a dramatic yet mannerly blending of creamy, toasty oak with roasted lemons and a very solid background of brisk apple scents. Its fullness on the palate is unmistakable but so too is its great depth and polish, and if its distinct fruit is less than frontal, it is not without plenty of length and staying power.
