“This wine has a tropical, citrusy character that pairs well with many foods. Its pineapple flavors are softened by a hint of vanilla. My wife, Pamela, served this wine with a quiche, and it was delicious. I like drinking it a little more chilled than most...My next ‘go to’ salad is cilantro lime rice salad with sautéed shrimp. The tropical flavors from the Talbott’s Kali Hart Chardonnay bring out the flavors in the buttery shrimp. “The 2008 Sleepy Hollow Chardonnay is a bright, full-bodied, American-Style wine. On the nose it offers tropical notes with hints of toasted oak and vanilla. A pale straw color with a lovely aroma of ripe tropical fruits and soft oak. The bright Chardonnay flavors are perfectly balanced with the oak. This is Chardonnay as it was meant to be.
