2008 Talbott Pinot Noir, Cuvée Sarah Case

“Named in honor of Robert Talbott’s eldest daughter Sarah Case Talbott. This is the inaugural release of this Pinot Noir from the Sleepy Hollow Vineyard. Two Dijon clones from prized blocks of 10 to 15-year-old vines. Aged 12 months in 100% new French oak barrels and bottle aged for an additional 6 months. Deep, dark reddish-purple color in the glass. Unusual but nuanced aromatics showing scents of dark chocolate, soy, cut flowers and lacquered wood. Moderately rich core of plum and cassis flavors pushing ripeness, robed in firm but caressing tannins, and displaying some persistence on the finish that leaves a little heat in its wake.” Rusty Gaffney PinotFile

"A Bright Pinot Noir" 2008 Talbott Pinot Noir, Logan

“A bright Pinot Noir, with a bold accent of minerals, its nose offers aromas of black cherry and plum along with notes of hickory smoked bacon. The cherry and plum return on the palate and move into notes of cola with hints of cinnamon. The wine finishes with the zest of minerals. Those who enjoy a Pinot with pzazz over silky smooth ought to give this bottle a try.” Jason Barlow Food & Beverage World - Click here

89 Points 2007 Talbott Sleepy Hollow Pinot Noir

“The 2007 Sleepy Hollow Vineyard Pinot Noir displays light red fruit aromas with high acidity and freshness on the palate. It is delicate on the attack, soft on the palate, and has firm tannins on the finish.” - Don Winkler International Wine Cellar - Click here
