Cuvee Audrey, named in honor of Robb's mother, is the most rare and distinctive Chardonnay in the Talbott portfolio. From its bright color to its beautiful stone fruit, green apple, and apricot aromas, this wine displays the power and complexity that has made Cuvee Audrey famous. Hand-picked from our small 17 acre Diamond T Vineyard in Carmel Valley CA and selected from only the 10 finest barrels. Aged in 100% new French oak barrels producing 250 cases.
On the palate, there is an excellent balance between rich fruit and lavish oak, with layers of Meyer lemon, citrus, and sweet toast supported by focused acidity. The finish is long and round, concluding with Diamond T's signature minerality.
