The grapes are grown on our small 17 acre Diamond T Vineyard which was personally planted by Robert Talbott in 1982. The vineyard is located in Carmel Valley CA and ideally situated for grape growing as it is 8 miles inland from Carmel Bay while being perched on a 1,200 ft mountain top. This small production, 250 case, Pinot Noir is crafted from select barrels aged in all French oak. It has a deep, vibrant color and aromas of ripe fruit and exotic spices. The palate provides rich flavors of cherry, plum and spice, with clean crisp acidity along with supple tannins. This wine is a cool-climate Pinot Noir that showcases the power and elegance of our Diamond T Vineyard.
