Diamond T Estate

This Pinot Noir hails from the very special Diamond T Estate in the Carmel Valley.  This 20-acre, tightly spaced vineyard grows on a 1,200-foot mountaintop, eight miles from Carmel Bay.  Cooling ocean fogs, both in the morning and evening, moderate the climate.  Crop yields are extremely small due to the challenging growing conditions, and the growing season is extended by the vineyard’s proximity to the ocean. 

Cuvee RFT is named after the patriarch of the Talbott family and Robert Talbott Inc, Robert Flook Talbott. This special wine comes from our Diamond T Estate and is our finest Talbott Estate grown and bottled Pinot Noir. The 2005 Vintage is the first Pinot Noir from our Diamond T Estate. Exhibiting the special character of intense, complex fruit, spice and mineral flavors that our hilltop estate is know for.
