Where does Talbott Vineyards ship wine?
We currently ship wine to the following states*
Each U.S state has different direct shipping laws that specifies the amount of alcohol legally allowed to be delivered to its residents. As a result, Talbott may not able to ship wine to every state
What if I want to return a purchase?
Talbott Vineyards does not currently offer returns on wine. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this policy .
What if my address changed or I need to redirect a package?
It is your responsibility to provide Talbott Vineyards with accurate information. Talbott and the third-party shipping agency are not responsible for lost or misdirected packages. A fee may be incurred for address corrections while a package is in transit and a charge assessed for reshipping of returned packages. When wine is delivered, the person accepting delivery will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years of age. We suggest having shipments delivered to a business address.
How long does shipping take?
There are several different shipping options; please see below for more details. In general, please allow up to 2 business days for processing an order. Delivery is not available for PO boxes.
For Ground & Express shipping options – All orders received by 12pm will be processed to ship the following business day.
For Temperature Control- Please contact the tasting room at (833) 592-0946. All orders received by 12pm on Tuesday will be processed to ship via temperature control on Thursday.
Ground Delivery – This shipping method is preferable for all orders being shipped to areas west of Colorado. Please allow 5 – 7 business days for delivery after the order is placed (this includes processing time). For California orders, delivery is usually 3 – 4 business days after order is placed.
Express Delivery (2-Day Air delivery). Once the order is processed, please allow 2 business days for delivery (3 – 4 business days total). Express delivery method can be used for the entire country but it costs significantly more.
Is a signature required for delivery?
Alcoholic beverages can only be sold and delivered to persons who are at least 21 years old. In placing an order, the buyer represents to Talbott Vineyards that he or she is at least 21 years of age. The person receiving the delivery must be at least 21 years old and may be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old upon delivery.
What if the initial delivery is not completed?
If no one is available to receive the package and it can’t be left in a secure location with an adult signature , two subsequent attempts to deliver will be made. Wine orders do require an adult signature, so when possible, we strongly encourage delivery to a commercial business address for the fastest delivery time. After the third delivery attempt, your package will be returned to the winery.
Can orders be delivered to a commercial address?
Yes. By law, an adult signature (21+ years of age) is required for delivery of wine. Therefore, we recommend shipment to a business address. This also ensures the wine is not left in a non-temperature controlled environment.
What is Talbott Vineyards Return Policy?
According to wine shipping laws, wine purchases can not be returned. Please contact us if you're having issues with your product.
