We currently ship wine to the following states*

Each U.S state has different direct shipping laws that specifies the amount of alcohol legally allowed to be delivered to its residents. As a result, Talbott Vineyards may not able to ship wine to every state.

How long does shipping take?

In general, orders received by 12pm will be processed to ship the following business day, weather permitting. Please allow up to 2 business days for processing an order, including expedited shipments. Delivery is not available to PO boxes.

Ground delivery:

For California, allow 3-4 business days for delivery from the date the order is placed (2 days processing plus 1-2 days transit time).

For areas west of Colorado, allow 4-6 business days for delivery after the order is placed (2 days processing plus 2-4 days transit time).

For areas east of Colorado, allow 7-10 business days for delivery after the order is placed for 2 days processing plus 5-8 days transit time).

Express delivery:

For 2-day Air, please allow 3-4 business days for delivery (1-2 days processing time plus 2 days transit time).

For Overnight:
allow 2-3 business days for delivery (1-2 days processing time plus 1 day transit time).

Weather considerations

Neither Talbott Vineyards nor our third-party shipping agency shall be held responsible for damages caused by temperature fluctuations during or after shipment. We may hold or delay shipment due to weather conditions.

During warmer times of year, we recommend choosing Express shipping and/or shipping with ice packs to protect your wine. As an adult signature of someone at least 21 years old is required for delivery, we recommend shipping to a business address when possible, to ensure fastest delivery.

Is a signature required for delivery?

Alcoholic beverages can only be sold and delivered to persons who are at least 21 years old. In placing an order, the buyer represents to Talbott Vineyards that he or she is at least 21 years of age. The person receiving the delivery must be at least 21 years old and may be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old upon delivery. We recommend shipping to a business address for delivery, when possible.

What if my address changed or I need to redirect a package?

Contact us at wineclub@talbottvineyards.com or call 833-592-0946 to redirect your package to a new address or carrier pickup location within the same state. Once a redirect has been initiated, please allow 1 full business day for the carrier to process and reroute your package.

Please note that it is your responsibility to provide Talbott Vineyards with accurate information. Talbott Vineyards and the third-party shipping agency are not responsible for lost or misdirected packages. A fee may be incurred for address corrections while a package is in transit and a charge assessed for reshipping of returned packages. When wine is delivered, the person accepting delivery will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years of age.

What if the initial delivery is not completed?

If no one is available to receive the package and it cannot be left in a secure location with an adult signature, two subsequent attempts to deliver will be made. After the third delivery attempt, your package will be returned to the winery. Wine orders require an adult signature, so when possible, we strongly encourage delivery to a business address.

If your package is returned to the winery, contact us at wineclub@talbottvineyards.com or call 833-592-0946 to arrange for reshipment. We are happy to coordinate the reshipment of your returned package. A fee may be charged to your credit card for shipping fees returned packages.

What if I want to return a purchase?

Talbott Vineyards does not offer returns or refunds on wine purchases. Please contact us at wineclub@talbottvineyards.com or call 833-592-0946 if you are having issues with your product.
